If you bring it, you’ll risk losing it.
For many, lightsticks are cherished merch items and must-haves for concerts, but certain lightsticks have occasionally caused fans to get into trouble.

BTS, for instance, has the ARMY Bomb. Although the lightstick is harmless, the word “bomb” is not, especially when said out loud at a stadium or in an airport.

For anyone ever flying to see a member or OT7 we call them LIGHTSTICKS at airports do not, I REPEAT DO NOT, call them ARMY Bombs at the airport. Thanks @Livheartt for reminding me. 😂💜

A Cherry Bullet fan ended up having their gun-shaped lightstick confiscated at an airport, after employees performed a standard search before their flight.
Now, the spotlight has fallen on Kento Nakajima. Kento Nakajima is a Japanese idol, actor, voice actor, and TV personality, who debuted in two idol groups: Sexy Zone and Yuma Nakayama w/B.I.Shadow.

Like Cherry Bullet, Kento has a gun-shaped lightstick. It also comes with a special feature.

Instead of bullets, his N / bias Original Penlight can be loaded with a photocard.

Because of the lightstick’s design, an airline is now warning fans not to include the lightstick in their carry-on luggage. Instead, they have to check the lightstick in advance.
