In the latest episode, the male contestants were sat chatting about their dates. Netizens noticed that Jun Seo was seen wearing what looked like a durag.

The durag was created as a protective tool for Black men to protect textured hair from damage and to maintain hairstyles and curl patterns. The history can be traced back to the head wraps worn by Black American slaves. The durag began to be used as an accessory in the 1990s within the Black community as a form of empowerment and reclamation of the durag as a symbol of pride. Many have felt is is cultural appropriation if someone who is not Black wears a durag.

It meant that many shared confusion about seeing Jun Seo wearing a durag during the recent episode.
