It was the usage of Doechii’s song that has since sparked some hate directed at the idol due to the timing after he posted it.

On February 2, the Grammy Awards took place, honoring many artists for their contributions over the last year. Doechii won the Grammy for “Best Rap Album,” an emotional achievement for the artist who has been active since 2016.

J-Hope’s video featuring the track was reposted to X, where many netizens shared surprisingly negative comments about the idol. Many implied that he was sharing the post for “clout” following her Grammy win.

Fans quickly came to the idol’s defense, defending him over the fun and silly video. Some even reminded that Doechii once gave BTS a shout out on one of her songs in the past.

On the other hand, some believe this might point to an upcoming collaboration between the two artists.
