Shimmery pastels
“I think that color trends transcend age. That’s the best part about the nail color category,” notes director of global education at OPI, Heather Reynosa. But she says, “Pastels are always a go-to in the spring, but we are seeing a spin on these shades with shimmers and effects in those same pastels. Think gossamer and chiffon, where layers of this build opacity with a softness that’s very forgiving and creates depth and dimension.” Celebrity nail artist and Sally Hansen global partner Naomi Yasuda agrees that pastel pearlescent colors are cute for spring.
