It is usually made as dry vegetable, but today we have brought its gravy with a delicious recipe. This vegetable becomes so tasty that once you eat, you will feel like making it again and again. Its special thing is that you do not want any more expensive things to make it, this magnificent vegetable is prepared only with daily things of the house. Material 4-5 people

  • Jackfruit – 500 grams (chopped into small pieces)
  • Tomato – 2 medium (finely chopped)
  • Yogurt – 1/2 cup (folded)
  • Onion – 2 medium (finely chopped)
  • Ginger-garlic paste-1 tbsp
  • Green Chilli – 2 (Finely chopped)
  • Tejpatta – 1
  • Cumin – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric Powder – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder – 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Oil-4-5 tablespoons
  • Green coriander – for decoration
  • The method of making vegetables with jackfruit is step by step as follows

    1. Boil or fry jackfruit
    First of all, add chopped jackfruit pieces and boil it till 1 whistle comes in the pressure cooker. If you want more taste, then you can also deep fry them. Frying causes jackfruit crisp and tastes better in taste.

    2. Prepare the masala
    Heat oil in a pan. First of all add cumin and bay leaf. After this, add finely chopped onion and fry till it turns golden brown. Then add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies and fry for a few seconds.

    Now add tomatoes to it and let it cook on low flame until the tomatoes are soft. Then add turmeric, coriander powder, red chili powder and salt and fry the spices well.

    3. Mix curd
    Now add torn curd to it and cook while stirring quickly so that the curd is not torn. Oil starts separating from the spices, then the masala is ready.

    4. Add jackfruit
    Now add boiled or fried jackfruit and mix well in the spices. Fry it on low flame for 4-5 minutes so that the spices enter the jackfruit well.

    5. Make gravy
    Now add about 1 cup of hot water and mix well. Cover and let it cook on low flame for 10-12 minutes so that the gravy becomes thick and the jackfruit melts well in it.

    6. Final Touch
    When the gravy comes to your favorite thick, add garam masala and sprinkle green coriander. Cook 2 more minutes and then turn off the gas.

    How to serve
