New Delhi. As soon as the monsoon arrives, water starts dripping from the split AC in the house, this is due to the humid weather and the excess of moisture in the air. In the indoor unit of Split AC, water accumulates during the rainy season, due to which it starts dripping inside the house. Many users are upset with this and often call Technicians for help, but can fix this probalum without any professional aid.
This problem usually occurs when AC is not regularly serviced. Proper servicing ensures that both AC Filter and Drainage Line are clean, so that water can get out of the drainage pipe. If the AC filter is not cleaned regularly, the dirt may accumulate in the indoor unit of the split AC, which may cause the drainage pipeline to obstruct. In addition, the incorrect level of indoor AC unit can prevent water from reaching the drainage pipe, which makes it dripping inside the house. This problem is especially noticeable in the rainy season when moisture is high.
This problem can also occur when the drainage pipe is folded or not sufficient refrigerant in AC, which can leak in large quantities and drip inside the house.
Split AC filter should be cleaned every three months so that dust and dirt do not accumulate, which can cause drainage problems. If the AC filter is broken, it should be replaced to avoid other possible problems in the AC system.
Clean the drain line of AC by flushing it with water under pressure so that the frozen dirt comes out, so that proper flow of water can be ensured.
