Meditation does not mean just sitting with eyes closed or stopping the mind completely. According to Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, “Meditation is not an attempt to control the mind. This is a situation where you are aware, but not under pressure. Concentration can be the result of meditation, but the basic sense of meditation is just to remain calm and peek inside.”
