- Flour – 1 cup

- Water – 1 cup or requirement
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Water (for sugar syrup) – 1/2 cup
- Saffron – Some threads
- Cardamom Powder – 1/4 tsp
- Dry fruits – to decorate
- Ghee – to fry


Material
- Flour – 1 cup
- Ghee – 2 tablespoons (for Moyan)
- Mawa – 1 cup
- Sugar – 1/2 cup
- Cardamom Powder – 1/4 tsp
- Coconut Bura – 2 tablespoons
- Raisins – 1 tablespoon
- Ghee – to fry

Method of making Mawa Gujia Step by Step
- 1. Make moyan by adding ghee to the maida and knead hard dough. Keep it covered for 15-20 minutes.
- 2. Fry the mawa on a low flame in the nonstick pan until the light golden color comes. Then let it cool down.
- 3. Now add sugar, coconut boora, raisins and cardamom powder to the mawa and mix well.
- 4. Make small doughs from the dough and roll it down. Keep the mawa mixture in the middle and bend half the moon in shape and press the edges thoroughly.
- 5. If you want, use Gujia mold so that all Gujia can become the same.
- 6. Now heat ghee in a pan and fry Gujia on low flame till they turn golden from both sides.
- 7. Store in air tight compartment when cooled.
