Sonali became a mother on 27th November and has given birth to a healthy and cute baby girl. But people have started inferring different meanings of this name. After 16 months of marriage, Sonali and her husband Ashesh L Sajani have welcomed this little angel. Sonali and Ashesh have named their daughter ‘Shukar’.
Sonali married hotelier and restaurateur Ashesh in June 2023. Now Sonali posted a monochrome photo on her Instagram, which is now going viral everywhere. In this photo, Sonali and Ashesh have made a heart together, and the tiny feet of their baby girl are visible in the middle. Sonali revealed her daughter’s name with this cute picture. Daughter’s name ‘Shukra’ is seen written on Ashesh’s hands. Whereas Sonali has written in the caption of her post, ‘Shukar e Sajnani’.
Sonali also told the story behind the name. She told that ‘Shukar’ means “gratitude” and this is the same feeling that she and her husband Ashesh keep in their hearts. He called his daughter a “little miracle” and said that she is a living proof of the blessings he has received in his life. Sonali also said that she wants her daughter to be able to see the beauty of every moment.

Confusion started due to father’s tattoo
The whole confusion started with the fact that father wrote his daughter’s name ‘Shukra’ on his hand. Whereas Sonali has named her daughter as ‘Shukar’ on her Instagram. Talking about this name, there is no word ‘Shukar’ in Hindi. Whereas in Punjabi ‘Shukar’ means thanksgiving. In the picture shared by Sonali, ‘Venus’ is written on father Ashesh’s hand. ‘Venus’ is a Hindi word. In ancient times, the name of Daityaguru Shukracharya was Shukra. Apart from this, the planet Venus is also called Shukra in Hindi. In astrology, this planet is seen to be associated with luxury and money. From here, many people are questioning who names their daughter after the master of demons.
