Washing machines have made our work easier. Where earlier it used to take hours to wash clothes, now the work is done in just a few minutes. Washing bedsheets and curtains at home not only takes time but also requires a lot of hard work. To ensure that the clothes come out sparkling clean, people use the best detergent powder and liquid. But there is one thing which people usually do not see and make a mistake while washing clothes. Actually we are talking about the filter of the washing machine. A filter is provided inside the washing machine which collects threads, cotton and dirt while washing clothes.
It is advised that whenever you put clothes in the washing machine and turn it on, you should clean its filter once. Otherwise, what will happen is that the dirt and threads stuck in the filter get stuck to the clothes being washed. If there is any clothing in which fabric like cotton sticks quickly, then it becomes very difficult to clean such clothes.

Especially if you have washed towels, blankets and any warm clothes, then the hairs enter its filter and then when you put other clothes in the slot, they stick to it.
How to know where the filter is?
Try moving your fingers around in the washing tub and when you find the filter, gently pull it out. Be careful not to trap fingers or nails. These are reticulated in appearance.
If you open the filter, you will find threads and cotton stuck in it. You can also take it out dry and if you want, immerse the filter in water for some time and then clean it by rubbing it with a brush.
