Khushboo says, ‘When I went to college, all my attention was just on studies. But my friends told that someone is following me. I kept ignoring it. Because it was not necessary for me. But then all this started happening, then my friends noticed it. They told me but as we do, I did not pay attention to these things, I did the same. Khushboo says that by the second year, these things started happening. Khushboo says, ‘We never refused them, never tried to stop. Earlier, those who used to chase my bus, they left the bus and started following us. Wherever I go, he would follow me. We changed one thing, where earlier I used to leave alone, now I did not go without anyone. Always started keeping someone together.

Khushboo further says, ‘One evening I had work, so I went out with my friend. It was night time, some people were following us. I started running, that car was coming back and forth again and again. For some time, he started running after me. When he was running after me, one of them had a pistol in his hand. I saw a government public ladies toilet then. I ran and hid in it and remained there till 12 o’clock in the night. Then my friend came at night and then we reached the hostel.

Khushboo says, ‘After this incident, when I reached the hostel, I myself raised many questions on my existence that why I am weak, why can’t I be powerful? Why do I get scared? Why am I running, I did not do anything wrong with anyone? But I do not know why there was a strange power inside, he was probably God or not to know. She further says that after this incident, a meeting with an army captain in college forced her to think of going into the army. After many years of mental complications, he shared his experiences with his father. Let us tell you that Khushboo was selected in the Indian Army for the first time.
