Kashmiri Ulan fair is organized in front of Keshav Hall near Sadar Hospital, Hazaribagh. Woolen clothes are being sold in this fair. Shop operator Ramesh Kumar Pappu tells that he has come from Gaya district of Bihar to set up shop in this fair. Blankets ranging from Rs 550 to Rs 4000 are available at the shop. Their weight ranges from 2 kg to 16 kg. All these blankets have been procured from Ludhiana and Panipat cities of Punjab. These are all mink and Korean fabric and design blankets. Their specialty is that they are light and yet remain warm.

Director Ramesh Kumar Pappu further said that blankets here are priced at Rs 350 and Rs 400 per kg. Single layer blanket is Rs 350 and double layer blanket is Rs 400 per kg. All the blankets have their price written along with their weight. People are getting good response here. As the cold increases, sales will also increase. Since it is priced at one price, people don’t even have to worry about bargaining here. The shop remains open from 9 am to 8 pm. Here a silver coin is being given as a gift on every purchase worth Rs 4000.
