But recently a case has come up which created a ruckus on social media. On this Father’s Day, a user shared a screenshot of a delivery app, in which the price of a cake was shown ₹ 5 lakh. Yes, you read the right, cake of 5 lakh rupees! This price torn people’s eyes torn and various reactions started coming on it.
It was bound to be surprised by the people hearing such a price. Usually in any bakery you can take good cake between ₹ 300 – ₹ 2000. But what was in 5 lakhs that was making this cake so expensive? There was neither gold decoration, nor any detailing was seen, nor was the name of any exclusive chef connected. Then it was just a technical mess, a marketing stunt or a special offer for a very rich customer? This has not been cleared yet. The app has also not given any official explanation.
