Customizable Swipe Actions (Mobile)
In the Gmail app, you can customize swipe actions to quickly archive, delete, mark read/unread, move, or snooze an email. To set their preferences, users will have to go to Settings > General settings > Swipe actions. This feature saves time by managing e-mails through simple swipe gestures.

confidential mode
Gmail’s confidential mode allows users to send sensitive information securely. In such a situation, while composing an e-mail, you should click on the lock-and-clock icon at the bottom. From here you can set the expiry date for the e-mail. A passcode is also required to open this mail. Also, mail sent in this mode cannot be forwarded, copied or printed.

schedule send
E-mails can be sent later through this mode. For this, after composing the mail, you will have to click on the arrow visible next to the send button and select Schedule send. After this, date and time will have to be selected as per requirement.

Undo send
After sending an e-mail in Gmail, an Undo option is available. This can prevent e-mails sent by mistake. But, by default it gives time of 5 seconds. This can be changed by going to the General tab in the settings of Gmail. This setting can be found by the name Undo Send and four options are available here, out of which 30 seconds is maximum.

keyboard shortcuts
Gmail offers a variety of keyboard shortcuts to enhance efficiency. To enable these, you have to go to Settings > See all settings > General > Keyboard shortcuts on. Talking about some shortcuts:

• C- To compose e-mail.
• For e-mail archive.
• Shift + U- To mark unread.
• G + I – To go to inbox.
