Lindsay Lohan’s Almond Milk Upper East Blowout

Celebrity hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos crafted this gorgeous look for Lindsay Lohan’s Vogue Czechoslovakia shoot using a custom-created wig by Noah Scott. Scott is known for the stylish, ultra-realistic pieces he creates for celebrities like Christina Aguilera and Chappell Roan—and the hair masterpiece for Lindsay is no different. The collaboration between Scott and Giannetos extends even to the color choice, which is a departure from Lindsay’s natural ginger.
“I wanted Lindsay’s look to feel expensive with an old Hollywood inspiration, but in the most modern, current way,” says Giannetos. “I decided to change Lindsay’s hair to this gorgeous almond milk color. It’s something she hasn’t worn before, and it looks incredible on her.”
The result is what Giannetos calls the ‘Upper East blowout,’ an homage to the New York neighborhood known for its luxe residents, upscale architecture and many art museums.
What is an Upper East blowout?
The Upper East blowout is an ultra-smooth style defined by old Hollywood waves and a peekaboo bang. It’s giving Jessica Rabbit meets old money New York.
“This look is all about polish and prep,” explains Joico global brand ambassador and artistic director, Larisa Love. “A luxe blowout starts with the right foundation and ends with that high-gloss touchable finish.”
“Though Lindsay’s look was created with a wig, replicating that level of fullness and structure requires major volume,” explains celebrity hairstylist and KERASILK ambassador, Harry Josh. “Think: extensions set in pin curls, then brushed out meticulously to create a rich, brushed-silk finish before being shaped to perfection.”
How to Achieve a Precise Shape
“You need tension, direction and the right products. I always start with Joico Dream Blowout ($27),” Love explains. “It gives heat protection, frizz control and memory for the style. Then, I use the largest boar bristle brush ($60) in my Larisa Love collection to sculpt and lift to create that tailored finish.”
Once you have the look you want, you can address flyaways.
“Precision is everything,” Josh says. “A mousse or smoothing product like the KERASILK Flyaway Wand ($20) helps tame frizz and maintain that sculptural quality without stiffness. The result is a blowout that feels both timeless and impossibly polished.”
