In a latest interview given to Architectural Digest India, Madhuri showed a glimpse of her house.
In this video interview given to Architectural Digest India, Madhuri and her husband Dr. Shriram Nene gave a tour of their Mumbai apartment, in which artwork made by famous artist MF Hussain is visible everywhere. Madhuri told that famous painter MF Hussain wanted to decorate the walls of Madhuri’s house with his colors. But Madhuri told him that no, leave the walls but you can give me your paintings. This luxurious house of Madhuri is decorated with these pictures. MF Hussain’s painting of Madhuri is installed in the center of the house.

As you enter the house, you’ll notice a console by Vikram Goyal’s Via Home in the lobby, along with MF Hussain’s Ganpati (1995) painting and a colorful carpet.

The dining area hangs another of Hussain’s paintings, Dancing Women (1995), which creates a smooth transition from the living room. The living room has a midnight blue sofa, round coffee table and armchairs, set against a neutral colored backdrop, and the dark wallpaper provides a nice contrast. According to a report of Money Control in 2022, this property is worth about ₹ 48 crore, which is located in India Bulls Blue Project. Located in Lower Parel, this apartment has a sea-facing view and is spread over 5,500 square feet.
Madhuri lives in her house with her husband and dog.
Madhuri and her family’s love for music, theatre, art and technology is reflected in the decoration of the house. There is a grand projector for a home theater experience, a cool bar setup for a chill mood, and a music room with guitars, drums and a piano.
Architect Apoorva Shroff, who designed Madhuri’s luxurious home, described it as a “sanctuary” with a contemporary and minimalistic touch, using straight lines, clean forms and a sober color palette. Madhuri also said, ‘Everything is uncluttered in this house. These straight lines are… beautiful and artistic too.
