How to make sago khichdi-
Required material-
– 1 cup sago
– 1 medium sized boiled potatoes (chopped)
– 2 green chillies (finely chopped)
– 2 tablespoons peanuts (roasted and coarsely ground)
– 1 tablespoon ghee
– 1/2 tsp rock salt
– 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– 2 tablespoons green coriander (chopped)
Method of making sago khichdi-
First of all, soak sago in 4-5 hours or overnight in water. Keep in mind that the water is only a little on the sago, so that it does not become too sticky. After getting wet, wash the sago with clean water and filter it. Remove extra water from it well and separate the grains.

Now keep a pan on the gas and heat the ghee in it. To apply, add cumin and green chillies and fry it. Now add boiled potatoes and coarsely peanuts and fry lightly. After 2 to 3 minutes, add soaked sago and rock salt and cook on low flame for 5-7 minutes.
When the sago starts to look transparent, then understand that it is cooking. Now turn off the gas and finally add lemon juice and green coriander and mix well. You can serve sago khichdi with curd or falahri chutney.
During this fast, along with giving energy to the body, it keeps the stomach full throughout the day. Make it at home on this Mahashivaratri and enjoy taste even in fasting.
