Priyanka was seen in the traditional Kerala saree ‘Kasavu’ on the occasion of her swearing-in. This saree was special because it is considered the traditional saree of Kerala. There is golden brocade work on the edge of the saree, which is called Kasavu. The word Kasavu means zari, a thread traditionally made of fine gold or silver. During this swearing-in, Mallakarjun Kharge was seen offering flowers on the picture of Indira Gandhi. Then everyone noticed that in the picture of Indira Gandhi hung in the Parliament, she was seen wearing exactly the same saree.
On this occasion, like every time, Rahul Gandhi was once again seen being ‘proud’ of his sister and taking her picture in his mobile like any normal brother. Rahul Gandhi has also shared this picture of his sister on his social media. Actually, Priyanka Gandhi has been elected in the by-election from Wayanad seat of Kerala, on which Rahul Gandhi was elected. But because he won the election from two seats, he left the Wayanad seat. After this, Priyanka Gandhi reached the House in the by-election held there.
