Why was this decision taken?
Jyoti Malhotra, a YouTuber from Haryana, recently came up in a case related to a Pakistani intelligence agency. After this case, railway and security agencies have become more alert. This is the reason that now the Railways has clearly told those people who are active on social media – especially bloggers and YouTubers – that they do not take any video or photo at the station or inside the train.

Railways believe that if the video or photo of any special technical information comes on social media, the place of the station, the place of the cameras, the arrangement related to the security, then this important information can be found in the hands of the enemy countries or anti -social elements.
Who will be considered a violation of the rule?
If a person is making a video on the platform or by standing at the train gate, then action can be taken on it. The Railways has not yet made any confirmed announcement for the fine, but if someone is caught by making a video, then it can be punished.
The officers present at the station have also been instructed to keep an eye on the fact that no person is making a video or photo inside the station or train.
Should common passengers be careful?
Sure. Nowadays everyone has a smartphone and people make videos on the go. But now passengers have to take care that they should avoid any such action that can damage the safety of the railway. Whether you are YouTuber or a common traveler, if you put videos related to a train or station on the internet, you may have to face trouble in future.

-Avoid making videos on the train or platform.
-If it is necessary to make a video, then first get permission from the railway.
-Think before sharing any information related to railway on social media.
