In an interview given to Architectural Digest, Shalini had said, “I am an artist and I always had an understanding of art and unique things. When I see something beautiful or interesting, I note it down and then do research on it. I go to museums, scan antique shops, touch fabrics, feel the textures of stones and discover the beauty and provenance of anything. A person should have a sense of refinement.
