Not only that, but his mother was also revealed to be a celebrity. According to Korean sources, his mother is Kang Sung Jin, a model from the 1990s as well. She was born in 1970, and is said to be 3 years older than her husband. In 1993, she won an award for her modelling. While Choi Jin Sil and Choi Min Soo were chosen for the “Best Model (Celebrities)” category, Kang Sung Jin won the “Best Model (Photography)” award, cementing her status as a top model. She left the industry early, presumably to focus on her family. Choo Young Woo was born in 1999 as the couple’s firstborn.
