These 2 Former ‘Real Housewives’ Just Got Matching Facelifts

You know what they say: friends who get plastic surgery together stay together (or something like that). At least that’s the truth if you’re former reality stars Jacqueline Laurita (The Real Housewives of New Jersey) and Lynne Curtin (The Real Housewives of Orange County). The Real Housewives alums have spent the last few days documenting their journey getting matching facelifts via Instagram, and I honestly can’t think of a better test of friendship.

On May 5, Laurita shared a video of herself fresh out of surgery, with bandages surrounding her face and an oxygen tube in her nose. “I can’t feel a thing so far,” she says in the video. “I feel great.” She shared the video alongside a long caption thanking her surgeon, Dr. T. Y. Steven Ip, and saying that her face was still a bit numb, which is the reason why one half wasn’t moving.

“I’m still waiting for the other half of my face to wake up that was worked on last,” she wrote. “Should be soon! That’s why it’s not moving yet.” At the time she made the video, Laurita also said that she was waiting on Curtin, who got the same five-hour procedure, to be “rolled in next to me,” but in the meantime, she was doing special exercises like “rotating ankle rolls [ten] directions each way and lifting my knees up and down” to keep her blood circulating.

A day later, the friends took to Instagram Live to speak about their recovery, and they both appeared to be in good spirits. “I know it looks like we have jockstraps on our heads,” Laurita joked about their bandages. They both then gave updates about what they were experiencing, noting that even though their faces were visibly swollen, neither of them were in any pain. Per Laurita, the exact procedures they received were a facelift, a necklift, a temporal lift (which is just a brow lift) and CO2 laser resurfacing.

We have no doubts that there are more updates to come from both women, but for now, we can’t help but applaud them for their candidness.
