Activate memory saver mode like this:

  • For this, first open Chrome.
  • Then go to the three-dot menu from the top-right corner.
  • Then select Settings.
  • After this open the performance menu.
  • Then turn on the Energy Saver toggle.

Users get the option to turn on Energy Saver mode only if the battery drops to 20 percent or the computer is unplugged.
