On every Sunday and Christmas, people of the Christian community also light candles in the church. Actually candle removes darkness and spreads light. People suffering from asthma, allergies and respiratory diseases can be troubled by burning many candles simultaneously. The thinner the candle thread, the less pollution it will cause. Do not burn it for more than 1 hour. Paraffin wax candles being sold in the market cause 10 times more pollution than firecrackers, hence candles made of B-wax and soy wax are fine. Burning of paraffin wax candles releases dangerous chemicals called acrolein, toluene and benzene. Nowadays, organic candles made from wood sawdust and coconut shells are also available in the market which do not harm both health and environment.
